Introduction
At House of Fraser, we know how important your wedding day is and we want you to
be delighted with your Wedding List service. These terms and conditions make it
clear how the service works. You agree, by using the House of Fraser Wedding List
service, to be bound by these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy.
Definitions
Account means the sum of money held by us on your behalf until closure of your Wedding
List. Your Account will hold any monies due to you where Gifts are no longer available,
until such time they are exchanged for alternative Gifts or converted into a House
of Fraser Gift Card.
Setting up a wedding list
You can create a Wedding List up to 12 weeks prior to your wedding date. The Wedding
List is made available to your Guests 6 weeks prior to the wedding and ceases to
be available for Guest purchases 2 days after your wedding.
Gifts
All Gifts listed on the Wedding List website are available for inclusion on your
Wedding List, even where they are not available in your Host Store. Product ranges
vary from store to store, and not all products that are in store will be available
for inclusion on your list. You should check Gift availability with your Concierge
so as to avoid disappointment.
Gift display when viewed online
We have made every effort to display the Gifts featured as accurately as possible.
However, the colours we use, as well as the display and colour capabilities of your
particular computer monitor, may greatly affect the colours you actually see on
the screen. We cannot be held responsible for any limitations of your monitor and
cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour, texture, or detail of
merchandise will be accurate/the same as the actual product.
Availability of Gifts
We will endeavour to ensure that any Gift added to your Wedding List is available
when a Guest purchases it. From time to time, it is possible that Gifts will become
unavailable and if that is the case, your Concierge will advise you on possible
alternatives to ensure minimum disruption is caused as a result of the unavailability
of a Gift. Where this does occur you can choose either an alternative Gift in your
Host store, or online, to the equivalent value or choose to have the equivalent
value placed on a House of Fraser Gift Card. The monies paid by the Guest will be
held on your Account whilst you decide. We will not inform your Guest that a substitution
has occurred. Because technology products are often updated, we reserve the right
to substitute the most up-to-date model after discussion with you, especially in
the case of TVs, Laptops and iPods.
Where you wish to view a particular Gift in store, we recommend that you telephone
your Concierge to check availability of the Gift before making a visit.
Age restricted Gifts
Your Wedding List may contain Gifts that are restricted in sale by law. The following
laws apply to those Guests attempting to buy such Gifts:
- Alcohol (or Gifts containing Alcohol) — it is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone
under the age of 18.
- Knives (or Gifts containing Knives) — it is illegal to sell a knife or blade
to anyone under the age of 18.
- Chocolate Liquors (or Gifts containing Chocolate Liquors) — it is illegal
to sell chocolate liquors to anyone under the age of 16.
Your Guests undertake to comply with these laws when purchasing such Gifts.
Pricing policy
We take all reasonable care to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices
of Gifts appearing on the Wedding List website are correct at all times. Gifts on
Wedding Lists are subject to price fluctuations in line with our in store prices
on a day-to-day basis. As a result, prices may change between the time you create
your Wedding List and during the purchasing period (6 weeks prior to your wedding
and 2 days after). Your Guests will be charged the price available on the Wedding
List website on the day the purchase is made. In the event that you decide to return
a Gift purchased by a Guest, the amount paid will be credited to your Account (please
see Alterations to orders and returns policy below).
Gift messages
Your Guests may leave a personal message for you when purchasing a Gift from your
Wedding List. We do not take any responsibility for the contents of messages communicated
by your Guests.
Delivery
Gifts will be delivered to your registered mainland UK (Northern Ireland included)
or Eire address. To allow for the timely delivery of the Wedding List to you, we
will collate the Gifts in our central warehouse as they are purchased by Guests.
The delivery date will be agreed between you and your Concierge. The majority of
Gifts will be available from 4 weeks after the wedding, if you do not order any
more Gifts when the Wedding List is closed.
If you have asked that your Guests make pledges to a House of Fraser Gift Card,
your Concierge will arrange to give it to you personally or send it to you.
All Gifts are wrapped carefully for delivery, but not gift wrapped. In the event
of any damages, please contact your Concierge within 28 days of delivery.
Direct delivery products
Red Letter Day Experience and Malmaison & Hotel du Vin vouchers will be delivered
directly from the supplier, separate to your main delivery from us. These vouchers
are non-refundable after delivery. You should read the supplier’s terms and
conditions upon delivery, to ensure that you obtain full usage of the Gift or Service.
Charges
The Wedding List Service includes one free delivery and there is no other charge
to either you or your Guests for using the House of Fraser Wedding List Service.
Alterations to Wedding List Gifts and our returns policy
- Alterations and returns: If you are unhappy with any Gift that has been purchased
by a Guest, and you should contact your Concierge to arrange an exchange. The amount
paid for the Gift will be credited to your Account to enable you to choose an alternative
Gift. You can choose either an alternative Gift to the equivalent value or choose
to have the equivalent value placed on a House of Fraser Gift Card. A maximum of
25% of the Gifts can be exchanged in total (before and after delivery). This excludes
exchanges for damaged goods as your statutory rights remain unaffected. No Gift
is fully refundable as the contract for purchase is between us and your Guest.
- In the event that you wish to make any change as per paragraph 1 above, you should
request a returns appointment with your Concierge.
- Tec 7 products can be returned only if kept in the original condition (i.e. in unopened
and undamaged packaging and including any accessories that form part of the product),
and returned within 28 days from the delivery date. An exchange for other merchandise
or a House of Fraser Gift Card to the value of the item will be provided only. Certain
products are excluded from this policy.
- After your delivery it is your responsibility to check the gifts and notify your
Concierge within 28 days from the delivery date in the event of any damages.

is accurate, but occasionally an error may occur and Gifts may be incorrectly priced.
If we discover that a pricing error has been made, we reserve the right to suspend
the Gift and contact both you and your Guest to ask whether both parties wish to

Introduction
At House of Fraser, we know how important your friend’s or relation’s
wedding day is and we want you to be delighted with the Wedding List service. These
terms and conditions make it clear how the service works.
The House of Fraser Wedding List allows your friends or family to create a Wedding
List containing gifts available from a House of Fraser store, the Wedding List store
online and from selected third parties. The Wedding List is then made available
for you to order Gifts online, by phone or in store which are delivered by us to
the couple on the date of their choosing. The couple can check the progress of their
Wedding List online and, if required, amend it whilst it remains open.
You agree, by using the House of Fraser Wedding List service, to be bound by these
terms and conditions.
Definitions

You can purchase from the wedding list 6 weeks prior to the couple s wedding and
2 days after.

This voucher will be emailed, or, where you do not have an email address, posted
to you after you have ordered your Gift from the Wedding List. This House of Fraser
voucher may be redeemed before the expiry date against purchases of £50 or
more.

You can order a Gift to be delivered to the couple from:

to a member of staff in store for assistance.
Gift display when viewed online
We have made every effort to display the products featured as accurately as possible.
We will endeavour to ensure that any item you purchase from the Wedding List is
available. From time to time, it is possible that items will become unavailable
and if that is the case, the amount paid by you will be added to your couple s Account
so that they can choose an alternative Gift to the equivalent value or receive the
equivalent value on a House of Fraser Gift Card. You agree that the purpose of the
contract between House of Fraser and you is to provide the couple with a Gift of
their choice at the equivalent value to that as paid by you. In the above event,
we will have discharged our liability to you by substituting the Gift originally
selected by you. We are under no obligation to inform you of this substitution if
it occurs. Please note that Gift Cards cannot be used for the redemption of large
kitchen appliances or mobile phones on www.houseoffraser.co.uk.
Age restricted Gifts
Your couple’s Wedding List may contain products that are restricted in sale
by law. The following applies if you are attempting to buy such products:
- Alcohol — it is illegal to sell alcohol to anyone under the age of 18.
- Knives — it is illegal to sell a knife or blade to anyone under the age of
18.
- Chocolate Liquors — it is illegal to sell chocolate liquors to anyone under
the age of 16.
You undertake to comply with these laws when purchasing such goods.
Pricing policy
We take all reasonable care to ensure that the details, descriptions and prices
of products appearing on the Wedding List website are correct at all times. Items
on Wedding Lists are subject to price fluctuations in line with our in store prices
on a day-to-day basis. As a result, prices may change during the purchasing period.
You will be charged the price available on the Wedding List website on the day the
purchase is made. In the event that a couple decides to return an item purchased
by you, the amount paid will be credited to their Account (please see Alterations
to Wedding List orders below).
Payment methods
Guests purchasing online may pay with all major credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
American Express, Maestro as well as by House of Fraser MasterCard, House of Fraser
Account Card and House of Fraser Gift Card. We are unable to accept payment by way
of House of Fraser Gift Voucher or eVoucher.
Gift messages
You may leave a personal message for your couple when purchasing a Gift from their
Wedding List. We do not take any responsibility for the contents of messages communicated
by you.

To allow for the timely delivery of the purchased Gifts to the couple, we will collate
the Gifts in our central warehouse as they are purchased by you.
Delivery is made directly to the couple at their chosen address on a pre-arranged
date. For security reasons, this information will remain confidential. We regret
that we cannot deliver to any other address than the one given by the couple at
the time of their registration.
Couples will be advised of your Gift purchase along with your personal message.
All Gifts are wrapped carefully for delivery, but not gift wrapped.

Charges
There is no charge to you for using the House of Fraser Wedding List service.
Alterations to Wedding List orders
Gifts that have been purchased by you, but have not yet been delivered, may be changed
by the couple. If the couple chooses to do this, the amount you paid for the item
will be credited to the couple s Account to enable them to choose an alternative
Gift to the equivalent value or to have the equivalent value placed on a House of
Fraser Gift Card. You agree that the primary purpose of the contract between you
and us is to provide the couple with a Gift of their choice at the equivalent value
to that as paid by you. In the above event, we will have discharged our liability
to you by substituting the Gift originally selected by you. We are under no obligation
to inform you of this substitution if it occurs.
Your contract with us
When you place an order on www.houseoffraserweddinglist.co.uk you enter into a transaction
with us. Your order on this website constitutes an offer to us to purchase the goods
in your basket for delivery to our central warehouse, for storage and onward delivery
to the couple. To meet our service commitment to you, we will store your order and
the necessary personal details, obtain authorisation from your bank for the payment,
and make certain security checks on your identity and address. The sections below
detail these actions and our respective rights and obligations.
Order confirmation
When you place an order to purchase a product from the Wedding List, we will send
you confirmation that we have received the details of your order. Your order represents
an offer to us to purchase a product, which is accepted by us when we process your
payment and send you an email confirming that we have done so. Once you have received
and read your email confirmation, the contract between you and us will be concluded.
In the event that you do not have an email address and you have ordered by phone

We reserve the right not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever including,
but not limited to: payment problems, product availability and not meeting our eligibility
criteria set out above.
Payment problems
If, for any reason, there is a problem with collecting payment from your credit
/payment card after we have confirmed receipt of your order, we will not be obliged
to fulfill your contract. Additionally, on some occasions, we may be unable to process
your order. The reasons for this may be due to:
- Your payment being declined; or
- An unspecified technical error.
If you are sure you are using a valid card, please try again with the same credit/debit
card or please place another order on our website, using a different credit/debit
card.
Security checks
As part of our policy to protect against the fraudulent use of credit cards, we
conduct security checks on all orders received. These can take various forms and
may involve contacting you by telephone before we process your order. We also retain
the service of various credit rating and fraud prevention companies, and we may
share details of your order with them for the sole purpose of detecting and preventing
fraudulent use of your payment cards.
Cancelling your contract
The contract between us and you will be concluded, when you have received and read
your written confirmation. At this point, pursuant to the Consumer Protection Distance
Selling Regulations 2000, you can cancel your contract with us within seven working
days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) for a full refund. If you
wish to cancel your contract in this manner, please call the Wedding List on 0844
800 0535 or visit a wedding list department in one of our stores. Gifts bought in
store must be returned to a store. Refunds will be made to the original payment
